Affiliate Program Terms

You earn 50% of what a customer you refer pays Plug — every payment for their first 12 months as a customer, measured as 365 days from when their account was created. What counts is the date they pay, not what the payment covers, so a renewal that lands after that window closes doesn’t commission.

Each commission sits in a 60-day hold before it becomes available to pay out — see Voided commissions, below, for what can happen during that window. Once your available balance reaches $25, we pay out monthly, on the 1st, by PayPal (goods & services — never Friends & Family). Payouts are gross: we don’t withhold anything, so reporting and paying any tax you owe on what you earn is on you.

Plug attributes on a last-click basis: whichever affiliate link someone clicked most recently before they signed up gets the credit. A click is good for 90 days — sign up after that and it no longer attributes.

Once someone creates an account, their attribution locks in permanently at that moment and never changes afterward, including if they click a different affiliate’s link later. And an account that already existed before it clicked an affiliate link can never become attributed after the fact — only a brand-new signup qualifies, with no exceptions.

To keep the program fair for everyone, you may not:

• Refer yourself, or buy anything through your own affiliate link
• Bid on “Plug” or “Plug Pro” as paid-search keywords
• Spam — unsolicited bulk email, DMs, comments, or the like — to promote your link
• Make misleading claims about Plug, including promising a guaranteed brand deal

Breaking any of these is grounds for freezing or terminating your affiliate account — see Fraud, below.

Wherever you promote your affiliate link — a video, a post, a newsletter, a coaching program, anywhere — you need a clear, FTC-compliant disclosure that it’s an affiliate link and that you earn a commission on it. Your Plug affiliate landing page includes this disclosure automatically; everywhere else you link out from, it’s on you to add one.

If we find fraud — fake or self-referred signups, manipulated clicks, or anything else designed to game the program — we can void the commissions involved, freeze your account, or terminate it. If a fraudulent commission already got paid out, we can claw it back: that can take your available balance negative, and a negative balance simply offsets commissions you earn later. We never invoice you for it or otherwise try to collect it directly.

A commission is voided if, before its hold clears, the payment behind it is refunded, disputed as a chargeback, or the subscription is cancelled — a partial refund reduces the commission proportionally instead of voiding it outright. Every void shows up in your ledger with the reason, so it’s never a mystery where a commission went.

We may update these terms as the program evolves. When we do, you’ll need to re-accept the new version before your links keep earning — continued participation as an affiliate means agreeing to whatever version is current.

Before we can send your first payout, we need three things on file: your PayPal email (where the money goes), your legal name, and your country. You’ll provide these when you enroll, or from your affiliate dashboard if you add them later.
